I am Dr Sergio Gancz, a specialist in renal (kidney)/ureteral  stone disease . This is treated by an Urologist

I am registered with the Brazilian Urologic Society as active Member , in Rio de Janeiro

I am also linked with American Urologic Association, European Association of Urology and Endourologic Society, as corresponding/International Member.

In particular I have  advanced training in the surgical Endoscopical aproach, in which I mostly work. Percutaneous Nephrolitotomy (PNL) is specifically  indicated for treatment of large , multiple or complex stones.  . My skills are centred on the treatment of kidney stone  diseases, their cause and their treatment
